In my childhood home, my mom hung a small plate on our kitchen wall with a painted wedding cake draped in pink flowers with the phrase:

“Life is short, make it sweet.”

———————

That little phrase has never left me. It shapes the way I move through the world and the way I approach every photograph I take.

I believe what makes a photo truly last is its honesty — the rare, specific things about a person, a couple, a family, or a moment that can't be staged or repeated. My job is to see those things and hold onto them for you.

Our time together is collaborative. We'll talk through your vision, and I'll help bring it to life in a way that feels natural, not posed. I want you to feel comfortable enough to just be and let the rest unfold.

The images we create together will be candid, authentic, and completely yours. The kind you'll want to hang on your walls and return to for years to come.

I grew up in a small town in southwestern Georgia and have since called Alabama, Montana, and now Minneapolis home. I studied art history in college and wandered through many different fields before finding my path in photography, and I'm so glad I did. Life has taken me a lot of places and introduced me to a lot of people, and I think that's made me a better photographer and human. I believe every love story, every family, and every person deserves to be seen and celebrated exactly as they are. My camera is for everyone.

When I'm not shooting, you'll find me knitting, walking, watching movies, or getting distracted by animals of all kinds. I share my Minneapolis home with my videographer husband Alex, our dog Harrison, and our cat Declan.
